Modern Slavery Policy

Strickland MFG UK Ltd. is committed to ensuring safe and legal working practises for all employees and encouraging those who supply Strickland MFG UK Ltd. to adopt the same approach.

1. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery or illegal employment practises of any kind.

2. Our recruitment processes ensure that we comply with current employment legislation and document checks are carried out to support review of compliance.

3. The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery is the responsibility of all those working directly or indirectly for Strickland MFG Ltd. Employees and contractors must report any activity that might lead to a breach of this policy.

4. Our contracting processes are kept under review to maintain adherence to the policy. We assess whether the circumstances warrant the inclusion of specific prohibitions against the use of modern slavery in our third party contracts. We encourage suppliers to adopt their own policy against Modern Slavery.

5. We may require employment and recruitment agencies and other third parties supplying workers to our organisation to confirm their compliance with our Code of Conduct.

6. We will consider whether circumstances warrant us carrying out audits of suppliers for their compliance with our Code of Conduct.

7. If we find that individuals or organisations working on our behalf have breached this policy we will take appropriate action. We would expect breaches by suppliers to be remedied. We would reassess our continued relationship with suppliers who have breached our policy.

8. This policy will be reviewed every 6 months.
